Intake Procedure
To be eligible for this program, a person must have an intellectual and/or developmental disability diagnosed before the age of eighteen and need assistance with skills in at least two of the following areas: Self Care Communication Mobility Decision-Making Living Independently The majority of people receiving services at The Arc of Volusia are enrolled in the Home and Community Based Medicaid Waiver Program, operated by the Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) disability program eligibility â State of Florida. Medicaid Waiver pays for most services described within our website.
